Privacy Policy
Last updated October 17, 2026
This policy explains what information DailyDubs ("we", "us") collects when you use the DailyDubs app, how it's used, who can see it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address and password (stored securely; we can't see your password), your name, username, and bio.
- Profile picture: if you add one.
- Your dubs: the goals you pick, the daily tasks you check off, and the streaks, totals, and weekly wins that come from them.
- Posts: the photos you take, their captions, which task they're for, and who you sent them to.
- Social activity: who you follow, who follows you, your friendship groups, the trophies you give, and the people you block.
- Reports: if you report a person or post, the report and the reason you chose.
- Notifications: if you allow notifications, a notification address for your device, so we can send things like "Clay just followed you" and streak reminders.
- Camera and photos: the app uses your camera only when you open it to take a photo, and your photo library only when you choose a profile picture. We don't access anything else on your device.
We don't collect your location, contacts, or advertising identifiers, and we don't use analytics or advertising trackers.
How we use it
- To run the app: your account, daily dubs, streaks, posts, follows, groups, and trophies.
- To send the emails the app needs, like sign-up and password reset codes.
- To send notifications you've allowed.
- To keep DailyDubs safe: reviewing reports, removing content that breaks our Terms, and removing accounts that abuse others.
Who can see your information
- Everyone using DailyDubs can see your name, username, bio, profile picture, streak, all-time dubs, weekly wins, and your follower and following counts.
- Your posts are seen only by the people you send them to: your followers ("Everyone"), your friends ("Friends only"), or the members of the groups you pick.
- People you've blocked can't see your posts, and you won't see theirs.
- Your email, goals, and daily task history are private to you.
Services we use
We use a few trusted providers to run the app. They handle your data only to provide their service to us:
- Supabase: stores your account, data, and photos.
- Resend: sends our emails, like sign-up codes.
- Expo (with Apple and Google): delivers notifications to your device.
We don't sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your information while your account is active. You can delete your account any time in the app: Profile → Settings → Delete account. That permanently deletes your profile, posts, photos, dubs, follows, trophies, and notification addresses. Friendship groups you made are handed to someone still in them.
You can also edit your profile, change your caption, delete a post, or remove your profile picture at any time.
Security
Your data is sent over encrypted connections and protected by access rules so people can only see what's shared with them. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Children
DailyDubs isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, contact us and we'll delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, download, or delete your information. Most of this you can do in the app. For anything else, contact us below.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If the changes are significant, we'll let you know in the app.
